“While a nurse in the United States Air Force stationed at Langley AFB, Virginia I was privileged to be assigned to go to Washington and be one of a team of three to escort a man who had been a prisoner of war in Vietnam for a number of years.
I was privileged to train personnel at Langley that were outstanding care givers. They all eventually became registered nurses.”
Captain Bobbye Moore is being honored on the first-ever, all-female, all veteran, Utah Honor Flight for Vietnam veterans and one Korean veteran from June 6-8, 2019. As a guardian (escort) for Bobbye, it is my privilege and honor to escort her to Washington DC for this flight. Thank you for your amazing and honorable service to God, Family, and Country.
