Ray Calvin Graves Private 1st Class 129th Army Infantry Regiment 1951-1955. Born Dec 16, 1932 Tehema County, California. He enlisted in the US Army in 1951, then went to Washington State at Fort Lewis, 44th division of the Army Boot Camp training then flew to NY and took a ship into Leghorn Italy then by train to Saulzberg and truck deployed to Salzak Austria where he attended Army ski school training and was awarded in several Rangers Target Competitions conducted thru 50′ snow banks. He became a Border Patrol M1 Rifleman in the Austrian Alps, suffered a broken leg then became Radio Man for Sergant Hainer’s 39 man 1st Platoon Company. Honorably discharged back to California family and married 1955.

Terry Cain

Cain

Terry served eighteen years, 1976-1994. Terry maintained and transported nuclear weapons on ballistic submarines and had shore duty at ATK. Terry volunteers much time at The American Legion where he holds leadership positions and gives dance lessons to its members.

Navy, 1965-1971.

Robert served as a Yeoman – Clerk. He served the engineering department. He was stationed up and down the East Coast and Key West, FL.

Robert Evans

Evans

Robert served in the Air Force from 1968-1990. Robert was stationed at Georgia AFB where he was an Aircraft Hydraulic Repairman and Shop Foreman. Robert also spent time in Thailand and Vietnam. When it came time to retire from his military career, it was from Hill AFB in Utah. Thank you, Robert, for your service and dedication to your Country as well as your fellow man.

SGT Faith R Hinkley

Army SGT Faith R. Hinkley, 23, of Colorado Springs, Colorado. Died August 7, 2010, serving during Operation Iraqi Freedom. Assigned to 502nd Military Intelligence Battalion, 201st Battlefield Surveillance Brigade, Joint Base Lewis-McChord, Washington. Died in Baghdad, Iraq, of injuries sustained from indirect enemy rocket fire in Iskandariya, Iraq.

Arlo Winrow

Winrow

Arlo served in the Air Force in Yuma during the Korean War in 1954 as a Flyer Search and Rescue. He also spent some time in France and he was well acquainted with the Base Commander there. Arlo has since taken his son, Rick, back to Yuma to show him his old stomping grounds and to show him where places were. Rick recalls this experience as “priceless.”

CPT Kyle Aaron Comfort

Killed in action on May 8, 2010 Operation Enduring Freedom. CPT Kyle Aaron Comfort, 27, was a Fire Support Officer assigned to Company D, 3rd Battalion, 75th Ranger Regiment at Fort Benning, Ga. He was born on October 27, 1982 in Alabama. He was killed in action on May 8, 2010 during a combat operation in Helmand Province, Afghanistan.
