Robert Elwood Strouse, aka “Marine Joe,” Marine Corps, 1965-1969
Robert joined the Marines right out of high school and he served in the 1st Batallion, 3rd Regiment. He served in I-Core south of DMZ where there was a lot of heat and fire. 3rd Marines wore more decorations than anyone in the Vietnam War. Marine Joe, thank you for your service and dedication to your Country and all whom call it home.
