PFC John P. Hogan

Mr. Hogan took part in the North African as well as the Italian campaigns and he fought in the Battle of Anzio. Not long after Anzio, while on the drive toward Rome, Mr. Hogan was wounded when a German shell exploded near his foxhole. Soon afterwards, he was evacuated by hospital ship to Naples. Eventually he was shipped home to the United States to recover from his wound.

We honor you, John Hogan.
